2D game concept production

Production

Game concept
First, I started making the background to the first of the screenshots for the game concept.
This was the original image of a tree I took while out with my family.
I spent a long period of time getting rid of the sky in the background, after completing that; I then turned to making the tree look better, I modified the tree, so that certain parts of it wouldn't be pixelated and blurred, as it appears to be on the image itself.
The closest colour I managed to find that was similar to the one picked up by the camera

Below are some screenshots of the editing process I had to go through, mainly using the eraser tool to get rid of the background and the colour that was between the branches.
I then went over the skeleton of the tree with the pencil tool, outlining the branches and the main trunk of the tree, the colour I decided to use was back to make the tree look bolder and stick out more, some of the branches that were too blurred to do anything with, so they unfortunately had to be removed, but instead I tried my best to replicate a tree best I could and make the branches myself.
A good friend and fellow student Linda Ozola gave me some advice on how to improve my work... she told me during the production to "make the branches longer" and I think that the final image of the tree itself would not have been mush of a success to be honest.

Company logo
Below are two possible logos I might use to display my company (that I made up of course), They aren't the final product, but they are ideas about how I'd like the logo to look.
Maybe I should consider I more professional look to the logo rather than being too fun, which is what the general appearance looks like at the moment in my eyes.

Below is the first completed stage of my final image that I made.
During the production of this image, a good friend and fellow student Linda Ozola gave me some advice on how I could improve my work; she told me I could add another shape to the image so that it would have a "Red, Blue and Green" colour scheme.
I decided to try out her advice to see if I liked it.
The editing screenshots for this image are below:

During production, good friend and fellow student Linda Ozola gave me some advice on how to improve my work, she told me: "you could add an extra shape to the image and colour it green; this way it would be, like red blue and green".
I decided to take this advice and use it; to see whether I'd like to keep it that way or change it back to how I made it.
The screen shots of the improvements I made to the image are below and the final image what I made from that is below that:

The image below is the final edited photograph of the logo I will be using to display my game and the made up company to go with it.

The next thing I'm going to do is start to make the final screen shots for my game concept.
I basically made this by, thinking of a name for my company (which wasn't easy at first), then I came up with several sample logos before I chose my favorite one. The test logos that I made are below and will give you an idea of what
Screenshots.
I am now working on is the screenshots of my game.
I have decided to try making three screenshots and no more just so I don't push myself too hard, One in the day with the wood on it's own, another one with the woods on fire and the final one would be the final battle screen with the robot master and Dave.
Game Screenshot #1

The screenshots above are screenshots of the editing process for my first "In-game" screenshot.
I am planning to make another two screenshots for my FMP and obviously I'm going to have the other editing process screenshots below.
